2011 Xerox Rochester Int’l Jazz Festival Exhibit

Our exhibit temporarily transformed a parking lot into a landscape. A testament to the power that the landscape has to bring people together, if only for a moment in time.

Our installation was entitled “TEN” to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the jazz fest. We installed TEN dancing trees, TEN bolder boulders and formed crazy seating berms amid the parking lot. Creating an ephemeral landscape in an urban setting was our cause, getting memorable comments years later was the effect.
